Kent is one of the country’s most dynamic universities. Established in 1965, we have over 19,000 students studying at campuses in the picturesque south-east of England and continental-European sites in Brussels, Paris and Athens and Rome.
We have an established reputation for the quality of our research, confirmed by our excellent performance in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 where we are ranked 17th in the UK for research intensity. The University is a major educational, economic and cultural force throughout its region with well-established external networks and partnerships around the world.
The Guardian University Guide 2016 placed Kent in the top 20 of UK universities, and our students are among the UK’s most satisfied with their academic experience. In the 2015 National Student Survey we achieved the fifth equal highest score in the ‘overall satisfaction’ category.
